Excellent opportunity to join this leading Financial Services organisation based in Docklands as an Assistant Vice President of the IT Operations Department. Coming from a background of 8 years+ in IT industry, you will have gained at least 5 years experience in a Management role, preferably within a Datacentre environment. You will have strong organisation and Man management skills, combined with an in-depth knowledge of the key issues for the provision of real time 24 x 7 Transaction Systems, incl system stability, resilience, performance and fail-over issues, storage * server * mainframe * backup environments. You will display excellent Project Management skills (PRINCE 2 would be a benefit to have) with Proven Project Delivery, negotation and influencing skills, as well as proven skills in vendor and customer relationship management. Financial Management, ITIL knowledge, Degree educated, and a background in Financial Services would be ideal. You will run Support Teams and Shift Operations Teams within a busy Data Centre environment. Excellent role!
